Tiki Preston has been dancing for as long as she can remember. She holds a BFA in Dance: Choreography and Performance from the University of Montana and has performed professionally with Bare Bait Dance for six seasons. Her work spans Contemporary, Ballroom, Commercial, and Acrobatic dance, blending technical precision with expressive, embodied movement.

 

Tiki is the founder of Tiki Preston Wedding Choreography, where she creates personalized first dances for couples looking to get married. Whether guiding couples through Country Swing, Waltz, Latin styles, or simply learning to move with ease and connection, her approach emphasizes confidence, presence, and shared experience.

 

In addition to her wedding work, Tiki teaches Commercial dance for adults and facilitates Yielding to Effort, a movement class centered on somatic awareness, efficiency, and deep listening to the body. As one of the few Acrobatic Arts Certified Instructors in Montana, she brings a unique blend of strength, fluidity, and artistry to her teaching. She received an Award of Excellence through the University’s Theatre and Dance Program in 2017-18, along with the Talent Scholarship in 2019. "Please Baby Please" a 2022 Music Box film shot in Butte Montana and directed by Amanda Kramer is a film Tiki got the pleasure of performing in. Deeply rooted in Missoula’s creative community, Tiki continues to teach, perform, and share her passion for movement throughout Missoula and the Flathead Valley.
